He was born in Kettering, Ohio on June 28, 1974 to Gene and Patty Dyrdek and since his age of 7, had the passion to be sportsman hence remained part of sports since little days.
However, he stepped in skateboarding when he was eleven years old after receiving first skateboard from professional skateboarder Neil Blender.

Dyrdek is a pet lover who has two bulldogs named Meaty and Beefy, while also engaged to his girlfriend Bryiana Noelle Flores on 26 April 2015 after proposing her at Disneyland. He has one sister, Denis who also loves him a lot.
